What Every Visitor Wants to Know:

Location
Our Sunday service is held at Texoma Christian School, 3500 West Houston Street in Sherman.  As you approach the TCS campus off of Houston Street, look for the visitor parking signs, and make your way toward the gymnasium. 

Service Times
The worship service begins at 9:30 a.m.  We also offer adult and children's classes at 11:15 a.m.

What to wear
A dress code is not our concern.  A lot of our folks prefer casual dress.  Others are used to wearing ties.  Knowing that God is more concerned with the inside than the outside, we only ask that all dress modestly out of respect for those around them.

Preaching

What we do
Worship is more a way of life than just something you do on a Sunday morning.  Still, what we do when we gather together as a body is important.  Our aim in every service is that God be the main attraction.  He is the One we praise.  He is the One whose works we sing and tell about, especially Christ’s work on the cross for us.  And He is the One who speaks from His Word and works in our hearts.

More specifically, musical style ranges from traditional to acoustic/folk to modern rock.  We seek to embrace variety in our expression of praise, which means we value what is old and new, historic and current.  You can expect the sermon to be a clear exposition of Scripture, usually part of a series on a particular book of the Bible.  We also regularly invite individuals to share testimonies of God’s work in their lives.

Getting Connected
We hope you’ll have a chance to meet some people as you visit a Sunday service, but we realize that relationships won’t go very far or get very deep on a once-a-week basis.  We encourage you to find out about small groups which meet at other times for fellowship and study, as well as various other ministries where you can begin meeting others and serving within the body.
