It is our desire to build up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children in a safe, loving, fun environment. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their kids by creating environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

PARENTS – Check out our weekly resources for engaging your kids at home (password protected page).

We are committed to partnering with parents in communicating the fullness and beauty of the gospel to our children. We will equip and resource parents in their role as the primary influence in their child's life. We aim to build relationships with each child and his or her family in order to successfully partner with them.

We hold your child’s safety, as well as his or her spiritual development, in the highest regard.
Volunteers have all completed a background check, had an interview with an elder/staff to become a Legacy Bible Church member, met with the Legacy Kids ministry leader and completed shadowing and training.

Our check-in system ensures that children are only released to the person who checked them into the service.

We maintain a safe ratio of children to teachers.

We enforce the childcare standard 24-hour sickness rule.

We open check-in 15 minutes prior to each service. First-time guests will be asked to fill out a family information card and receive a name tag for each child as well as a matching parent tag.

We use The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for all ages (birth-fifth grade). This innovative curriculum walks through all of Scripture over the course of three years, with lessons designed especially for each age level.

We want to give your child a safe and nurturing atmosphere. We spend time connecting with the children, hearing from God’s Word and reinforce it during playtime. They’re worshiping God and learning about Jesus, just like you are.

This age group learns what it looks like to love and trust Jesus. They engage in worship, hear a Bible story and connect to the story through a craft and several fun activities.

Our prayer is that all elementary-aged students would begin to establish a biblical worldview in light of who God is and how we are to respond to him and his Word. Children engage in large-group teaching from God’s Word and corporate worship. Then they move into their small groups to go deeper into the Bible story with application and memory-verse activities. Elementary students use real Scripture Bibles to encourage reading and understanding Scripture.

Pick-up requires the parental portion of the check-in tag received during check-in. Parents will show their tag to the teacher or small group leader at the door. The leader will then match the numbers and release the child to the parent. Upon check-out, parents can pick up family resources that we hope will help them follow up with their kids about what was discussed in Legacy Kids.

Our mission is to equip families to engage in spiritual conversations at home, not just in classrooms on Sunday morning. Children of all age levels come home with the same memory verse on a given Sunday, and you’ll see that as your child grows older, he or she will get a clearer and deeper meaning of each story on Sunday morning. Our hope is that younger children will be able to tell you the basics of the story and older children will be able to fill in missing pieces of that story and how it applies to everyday life.

In addition to Sunday morning programming, Legacy Kids offers activities and support to families through special events, including
Parents’ Night Out
Small Group Events
Sports Camp Style VBS
Family Camp
